Our people
“Great digital design is about bringing brand, creativity and usability together. Every decision should have a reason behind it – from how something looks and feels to how people interact with it and experience the brand.”
About Marcelo Perez Izco
Marcelo is a multidisciplinary designer with extensive experience across graphic design, brand, digital and web. His work today sits at the intersection of UI/UX, visual design and front-end development, turning brand ideas, content and business goals into digital experiences that are intuitive, accessible and visually engaging. Drawing on his experience across different areas of design, Marcelo considers not only how an interface works, but how typography, hierarchy, brand, content and interaction come together to create a coherent experience. That wider creative background means he can see both the detail of an individual interaction and how it fits within the bigger brand picture.
Marcelo has experience designing for complex and regulated sectors including healthcare, finance and property, where clarity, accessibility and strong visual communication can have a significant impact on how effectively a brand connects with its audience. Information can be detailed, audiences can have very different needs and digital journeys are rarely straightforward. Marcelo considers those challenges as part of the creative process, using design to establish hierarchy, make complex information easier to understand and create intuitive experiences without sacrificing the personality or visual impact of the brand.
For Marcelo, being part of a full-service agency means creative thinking, design and delivery are connected from the outset. With hands-on experience in front-end development as well as design, he understands how ideas translate from initial concepts and prototypes into working digital experiences. He works closely with delivery and development teams throughout the process, considering how interfaces will behave, respond and perform once built, while research, brand, content and digital insight give him a deeper understanding of the audience and what the work needs to achieve. That combination allows Marcelo to bridge the space between brand, creative, UX and technology, making sure the original creative thinking carries all the way through to the final experience.
