Persimmon

Keeping everyone connected

Persimmon is one of the UK’s leading housebuilders, operating across 29 regional offices and employing thousands of people.

For a business of that scale, clear, consistent internal communication has an important role to play in connecting and engaging a widespread workforce, while keeping people informed and safe.

Since 2022, we’ve worked closely with Persimmon’s internal communications team, providing ongoing creative support across a wide range of print and digital communications.

The briefs are varied. We’ve created health and safety communications for construction sites, developed branding and materials for employee awards, supported IT change programmes and produced presentations, posters, literature and video content.

Working within Persimmon’s established brand, we’ve built a relationship that means we understand the business, its audiences and how it communicates. So whether the message is about safety, change or celebrating success, we can turn it into clear, engaging communications designed to connect with Persimmon’s people.

One connected internal comms approach

The impact

Good internal communication helps turn business priorities into something people can understand, connect with and act on.

In practice, this helps a widespread workforce stay connected to what’s happening across the business – from organisational change and strategic priorities to the everyday messages that keep people informed and safe.

It means making health and safety communications difficult to miss. Helping employees understand change and what it means for them. And celebrating success so that people, teams and achievements get the recognition they deserve.

Together, these communications help create greater clarity and consistency across the organisation, supporting Persimmon in keeping its people informed, engaged and aligned with the direction of the business.

The team at Wrapped is like an extension of ours. They’re a sounding board – always there, flexible and reliable. We know if we need something doing right first time – we can simply drop them a line. It’s a real pleasure working with them, and we can’t wait to continue to see what we can produce together.

Excellence as a shared priority and building engagement

FTSE 100 home builder Persimmon is pretty much the blueprint for a big business with a widespread workforce. The key value is excellence always and the leadership team is determined to engage the whole workforce in getting behind it.

Our job is to make sure the comms materials are so punchy and professional that they’re impossible to ignore.

As part of this mission to engage and unify the widespread workforce, we’re creating a huge range of creative materials. This includes consistent branding, messaging for campaigns, illustration and motion graphics.
