The University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust employs over 5000 people in the North West. One of the trust’s core values is a focus on its people, so the brief was to create a campaign that would highlight just how much the trust cares about them and wants to invest in its staff both now and in the future. Wrapped was tasked with devising a campaign that encouraged staff to adopt healthier habits, proven by research to also improve patient outcomes.
Kate Eady, Creative Director at Wrapped says: “The Flourish story is about inspiring a whole workforce to reclaim its health, overcoming the challenges of tough jobs on the frontline, and boosting staff and patient care for the long term.”
The trust encompasses five hospital sites across a total area of 1000 square miles and communication with staff across the sites has in the past been difficult.
So how amazing would it be to improve employee wellbeing, whilst maximising patient care?
In just eight weeks since the launch of the Flourish campaign, staff have walked a massive 50,228,739 steps (equating to over 2million calories used!).
There have been over 595,199 impressions on twitter and nearly 84,000 people reached.
The #flourishatwork message has been seen on average x7 times per twitter user.
Engagement has been at an all-time high across the five sites and surprisingly, across all job roles - from student nurses to cleaners and from paramedics to surgeons to car park supervisors.
What do you stand for? We hope you’ll give us chance to help you define it and then tell the world.
